Paul McVeigh (born April 15, 1982) is an Irish[1] mixed martial artist, fighting out of Glasgow, Scotland. He grew up in Drumaness, Northern Ireland before later moving to Glasgow, Scotland. He is ranked as the #1 Bantamweight in Europe[2] and is the current Cage Warriors and Cage Contender Bantamweight Champion.

He also holds a black belt in Jujitsu[3] and a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.[4]
McVeigh made his professional MMA debut in November 2002. Over the next 9 years, he amassed a record of 18 wins and 6 losses fighting in England, Ireland and Scotland before appearing on The Ultimate Fighter.
On July 24, 2010, he defeated Lithuania's Artemij Sitenkov at Cage Contender V in Dublin, Ireland in a bout for the Cage Contender Bantamweight title.[5] The bout was regarded as the biggest Bantamweight fight in European MMA history.[6]
McVeigh recently appeared on The Ultimate Fighter: Team Bisping vs. Team Miller. He lost a close fight to Louis Gaudinot. Afterward he was higly praised by coaches Michael Bisping and Jason Miller as well as UFC President Dana White.
McVeigh made his BAMMA debut against Erik Perez at BAMMA 8. He lost the back and forth fight via unanimous decision.
